Counselling Student/Trainee
When I was in my training to become a Counsellor, I found it financially challenging to pay for personal counselling on top of my course fees and, in some cases, supervision. However, as part of most diploma courses and higher levels of studying, it is mandatory for trainees to undertake a minimum amount of personal counselling as part of their personal development.
Therefore, I offer a block booking of 10 sessions at a reduced rate. Sessions can be held face-to-face or remotely via video. Proof of attendance will be provided upon completion of your counselling.
The offer is 10 x 50-minute sessions for £250.
The Mission
This will enhance your ability to support clients by encouraging you to consider the value of receiving counselling yourself. It will help you address difficult aspects of your life that might affect your work with clients, such as transference or core beliefs.
The Vision
Experiencing counselling for oneself enriches empathy for others. With this as a stepping stone, one's own baggage is left at the door of the therapy room; from here, there is only you and the client's story.
